Then come on board and make a difference with a truly outstanding employer The position in detail: Market Access has developed into a mission critical factor for pharma, which is determining to a large extent the commercial value of all products and projects of Bayer Pharma. In an increasingly restrictive pricing and reimbursement environment delivering true value for healthcare spend is a prerequisite to sustain commercial viability for Bayer and to maximize the opportunities emerging from launch brands, mature brands and an innovative pipeline. For Must-Win brands and selected pipeline projects, this role will lead the development and implementation of Market access strategies and solutions that maximizes brand and pipeline value with focus on the Must-Win markets incl. UK, while providing a framework for RoW. Major responsibilities: • Lead TA Access Core Teams (ACT) as a platform to drive Access Strategy development and implementation in Must-Win Markets incl. UK with seamless responsibility across development and lifecycle for the assets in scope • Impact optimal development and go-to market approaches through a robust and ongoing cross-functional dialogue within the ACT, R&D and Marketing regarding HTA/Payer needs and emerging competitive environments • Responsible to create the ACT/Brand Scorecards in the context of the yearly Market Access target setting process and ensures delivery against agreed objectives and adherence to the KPI reporting procedure • Serve as the Market Access "Brand Champion" towards Countries, R&D and Strategic Marketing and sits in the Brand Core/Launch Teams and Global Project teams for assets in scope • Ensure ACT operates in accordance with highest compliance standards • Accountable for creation of one joint HQ + Must-Win markets (incl. UK) Market Access strategy and plan for the assets in scope: e.g. Holistic market access strategy to achieve optimal P&R or Annual implementation plan Global and Must-Win markets (incl. UK) for national P&R, including a joint perspective on budgets • Responsible for providing a Framework for RoW describing the HQ + Must-Win Markets (incl. UK)-deliverables and " do's and don'ts " • Responsible for Pricing and Reimbursement Policies • Accountable for submission and presentation of deliverables #2-4 to governance committees

Who you are

• Advanced university degree in economics or health care field (PhD, Master degree or comparable education) with long-term experience in Market Access-related activities and/or commercial/R&D project leadership positions, preferably with a multinational company • Profound knowledge across the functional pillars of Market Access with a track record of successful Market Access submissions and negotiations on global and/or country level • Strategic thinker with excellent communication and problem- solving skills and the ability to focus on the wider business need • Proven leadership skills with focus on strategic vision, building of effective teams and motivation with an intercultural sensitivity in a global, matrix organization • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
