Global Trade Excellence Leader
PURPOSE
By embedding best-in-class Pricing and Net Revenue Management (NRM) practices & capabilities, we can drive better data-driven commercial decisions that will enable us to drive access and category growth while realizing net price and gross margin opportunities.
The Global Trade Excellence Manager is responsible for strengthening the global regional and local guidance and transparency on trade investments management and optimization, with special focus on fragmented markets (pharmacy channel).
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES
- Drive Global and Regional Trade Investment guidance
- Link Trade Investment / Trade Terms initiatives to local commercial catalog
- Liaise with Regional NRM to consolidate Trade Terms opportunities
- Liaise with Global Innovation teams to provide Trade Excellence guidance for Innovations
- Feed Trade Investment and Terms value creation into regular financial planning
- Develop Trade Excellence Playbook (publish as part of TL4L) - Review of the Commercial Policy setting global guidance
- Develop Trade Excellence Analytics and Tooling to enable core markets
- Ensure that Commercial teams implement Commercial Policy framework and address pertinent audit topics brought up
- Member of the global Trade Project Steering and Implementation team to support the markets in implementing E2E approach to managing holistic Trade Terms with their customers to improve Margin and Cash Flow realization
- Drive not only the WHAT but also the HOW based on CuEx ‘LIFE’ Values: Strategy into Execution, strong Collaboration, ‘Player Coach’ attitude, Customer-centricity
WHO YOU ARE
- Proven record of following through and delivery of tangible value on Customer Excellence, Sales Effectiveness, Trade Management and/or Trade Optimization projects
- Experience in commercial, sales and/or finance roles for at least 6 years with proven understanding of P&Ls, trade investments, customer trade terms, customer planning
- Postgraduate university degree or equivalent qualification in finance, science or engineering
- Preferably also proven business experience in project management / consulting
- ‘Player-Coach’ attitude, basic consulting skillset, drive customer-centric results with excellence
- Strategic thinker. Able to navigate complex issues. Flexible & Adaptable. Intellectual curiosity, challenging “status quo”, and demonstrated managerial courage
- Experienced in working in Teams, valued contributor and viewed as expert in pricing/NRM
- Gravitas and leadership skills to frequently interact with Senior Management. Demonstrated ability to work in multicultural environments. Excellent networking & conflict management skills
- Fluent in English, additional languages advantageous
