End-To-End Supply Network Lead - Low Potent Solutions (m/f/d)
YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accountable to lead the end-to-end supply network Low Potent Solutions across the end-to-end value chain from inbound of raw materials until delivery of finished goods to sales affiliates, customers with the key objective of high product availability for patients during the phase of market introduction and commercialization
- Ensures worldwide reliable replenishment of sales products considering various network/product dependent supply strategies. Support late-stage development activities and to design, implement supply network strategies under consideration of commercial business models. Accountable for implementing product changes (launch, label, deletion) according to regulatory timelines
- Responsible for assessment of supply risks, inventory steering, replenishment of finished product, product change, product allocation and bottleneck management
- Responsible to support best in class launches and contributing to transfer, site change activities
- Leading an international team in Berlin, Basel incl. functional leadership of operational team in Barcelona. Individual will lead a network focused SCM functions consisting of more than 10 internal and external production sites plus multiple raw material, excipient, packaging material suppliers. The end-to-end scope comprises all relevant manufacturing and supply stages/activities including manufacturing of API/Drug Substance, Drug Product/Bulk formulation and Packaging
- Leads the upstream/end-to-end Integrated Business Planning process steps to align and release supply chain master plans and to solve potential supply/demands gaps
WHO YOU ARE
- University degree in supply chain management, computer science, industrial engineering, economics or an equivalent qualification (e.g. natural/applied science or mathematics)
- 10+ years of operational experience in SCM, Procurement, Quality, R&D, Operations, commercial organization as both individual contributor and manager in the medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech or similar industry
- Must combine strong conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to motivate senior managers cross organizational teams to collaborate. Should have a broad understanding of various disciplines and issues impacting manufacturing and supply chain operations around the world (e.g. regulatory and environmental issues, quality control)
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast moving and international environment
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal relations skills that promote collaboration and transparency across the organization with a high degree of customer focus
- Fluent in English is a must. Any other languages are a plus
- Hybrid working mode with defined home-office time is supported
