Pricing Manager

Your tasks and responsibilities

Market Access has developed into a mission critical factor for pharma, which is determining to a large extent the commercial value of all products and projects. The Global Market Access organization will support bringing products to patients in the most value-generating way, by enabling the company to successfully manage the market access levers in close interaction with relevant internal and external stakeholders. The jobholder will lead the global pricing for an innovative cancer medicine.

 

Major tasks

 

  • During product development, provide pricing and reimbursement evaluations covering relevant uncertainties in scenarios and decision choices as options for the commercial evaluation of the products feeding into the company's forecasting and prioritization processes
  • Towards launch, recommend core pricing and reimbursement parameters for key 6+1 markets such as list price, net price, and reimbursement and the country launch position including solid rationale from an external customer relevant perspective (price and reimbursement constituents and commitment forms)
  • Contribute to launch sequence in close collaboration with the regions and countries
  • Consolidate the pricing and reimbursement strategy into a global pricing and reimbursement policy serving as backbone for global price governance
  • Develop and help execute solutions to support national/sub-national pricing and reimbursement strategy implementation e.g. by strategic contracting options and negotiation support for the key 6+1 markets
  • Post-launch, develop lifecycle management pricing and reimbursement strategies including price maintenance strategies and support evaluating pricing and reimbursement changes
  • Develop strategies that optimally support the launch of additional indications of the products from a pricing and reimbursement perspective
  • Integrate the above mentioned strategies as key component of the holistic product-specific market access strategy

 

Who you are

  • Education: Academic degree preferably in Business Administration, specialization: Pricing, Strategic Planning, Marketing or similar
  • Experience: > 3 years of professional experience in Pricing and Reimbursement, Sales or Marketing in pharmaceutical industry or consulting to the pharmaceutical industry
  • Detailed understanding of Pricing and Reimbursement systems of global key markets
  • Knowledge on Health Technology Assessment methods / HE modeling is an advantage
  • Ability to effectively work and communicate across multiple cultures and a breadth of functions and levels
  • Analytical competencies to structure complex issues, synthesize key points and communicate and present in an easy to understand manner
  • Strategic thinking, organization and planning skills, fluency in English, both verbal and written, another language is an advantage
