Digital Marketing Manager

Your tasks and responsibilities

Are you looking for a new challenge where you can build the digital capability within Bayer Switzerland? Do you have strong experience in digital marketing incl. media, digital channels and new trends in digital communication? As Digital Manager in Bayer Consumer Health Switzerland, you will be responsible for building and executing the local Digital strategy to serve brands & customers objectives across all digital channels. You will leverage digital to create impact on Consumer and Pharmacists with well-known brands like Bepanthen®, Supradyn®, Berocca®, Aspirin®, Rennie®, Priorin® and Pretuval® etc. You will have the chance to demonstrate your digital expertise, marketing competences and project management skills as well as to be nurtured from the global digital excellence toolset. Mains tasks are:

 

  • Develop local digital strategy by transferring brand strategy and adapting global digital guidelines, in collaboration with Management Team and related department
    • Drive the brand strategy into digital channels, based on consumer journey and available data, to deliver state-of-the-art brand websites, SEO/SEA and online media planning in collaboration with Brand Teams
    • Establish and lead to new types of digital communication, identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure brands are at the forefront of industry development
    • Develop Pharmacists’ digital engagement strategy as well as digital Point of Sales, in collaboration with Trade Marketing department
    • Define e-commerce channel strategy in collaboration with Sales, including evaluation of business potentials & go-to-market execution
  • Supervise and ensure implementation of digital plans and initiatives
    • Own and manage digital projects to deliver against the defined objectives
    • Lead cross-functional team of internal and external resources
    • Set and monitor metrics to measure progress against digital goals and identify optimizations
  • Ensure collaboration and know-how transfer across the organization
    • Align and coordinate Marketing, IT and agencies to deliver digital targets
    • Enable Brand Managers to become digital-ready and where relevant the other internal departments (e.g. Sales, Trade Marketing)
    • Active involvement with Global & Regional Digital Teams transferring strategies and capabilities to local brand teams

 

Who you are

  • Degree in Business Administration, IT, digital marketing or an equivalent qualification
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience with digital marketing projects and business challenges incl. proven track record preferably in OTC-, FMCG- or digital-related industries
  • Experience in digital media, content creating and e-commerce appreciated
  • Self-driven leader with the ability to manage multiple assignments and drive projects
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, team and networking mindset
  • Convincing, persistent and challenging the status quo
  • Very good German and English, both spoken and written. French would be a plus.
